Meet Ginny

Hi, I’m Ginny.

I am a cold ocean plunger, a solo Nordic skier, a summer island explorer, a dancer, a runner, a sometimes meditator, a mother, a wife, a friend, a sister, a daughter, and a veterinarian.

More relevant to you, I am a Certified Breathwork and Reiki Level II Practitioner. I am here to guide and support you as you connect to your Breath, your body's innate Wisdom and your Self.

I am chronically curious - I am a life-long seeker that has always been interested in learning and personal development. I am inspired by transformation - I am continuously in awe and wonder of my clients as I witness them committing to and moving through their healing journey.

How I show up for you as a Practitioner:

  • I’m a great listener - I listen to both your words but also listen in on a deeper level.

  • I’m a loving presence - I hold you in deep compassion and empathy, witnessing and honoring your journey.

  • I drop in - I am really present with you throughout your experience.

  • I create a safe container - I hold gentle, intuitive, and present space.

  • I’m on my own transformational journey - it is imperative that I do my own work as I hold space for others doing theirs.

My Story

My journey to become a breathwork practitioner arguably began with asking for self-help books for Christmas as an adolescent. More specifically, I went through a really transformative life transition during my late 20s (as many of us do) which led me into therapy for the first time.

For years, I engaged in traditional talk therapy which was very beneficial but I eventually started to realize there were other access points for growth and healing. I have explored psychedelic-assisted therapy, somatic experiencing, sound healing, yoga, meditation, and pranayama breathwork. On a Surf & Yoga Retreat, I learned about Therapeutic Breathwork using the Conscious Connected Breath. I was hooked and began regularly engaging in group and private sessions.

Through my Breathwork experiences, I have been able to access and integrate emotional trauma and stored emotions, feeling more connected to Earth and Source energy, more alive, and more connected to myself.

I was given the opportunity to join a facilitator training with Tania Zuckerman of Spiraldance Breathworkβ„’, which I was drawn to as a means to deepen my practice. In the process of becoming a Certified Practitioner, I realized that I did in fact want to be a facilitator.

Professionally, I have been a veterinary oncologist since 2008. I was drawn to this speciality because it allows me to deeply connect with clients and pets moving through very challenging experiences and transitions. I have always been drawn to being with people in the depths, which of course now is showing up in my work as a Breathwork Practitioner.

Experience Breathwork

Therapeutic Breathwork provides emotional, mental, physical and spiritual benefits. This type of conscious, connected breath allows you to release patterns or energy that are stored in your tissue. It is a somatic practice that can release trauma and unprocessed emotions, connect with deeper self-love, and integrate healing.

I offer private sessions as well as Private Breathwork Circles and Community Breathwork Circles.
